FAQ's

Who is Zeta Xi Theta?

Zeta Xi Theta Sorority is a black non-collegiate sorority that promotes self-love, communication, accountability and leadership. We take pride in supporting our sisters as well as the community!

What are the requirements to join Zeta Xi Theta?

You are required to be 18 years or older and willing to be a part of a sisterhood and contribute to this support system, while upholding the principles and virtues of this sisterhood.

Do I have to be in college to join ZXT?

No, college or degree necessary.

How do I join if I am in a different state?

We are always looking for opportunities to expand and spread this sisterhood! Yes, you are able to join, even if there is not a chapter in your state... Yet! Once your application is completed, you will contacted with details. As of right now, there are chapters in DC, PA, NY, AK, NC, NO, TN & TX. We are vastly growing!

What is the pledge process?

The pledge process will be explained once an application has been submitted and you have attended an information session with the Founders.  NO HAZING WHATSOEVER

Is it expensive?

We understand that finances can be tight (especially during this pandemic) and life happens! There is a non-refundable $40.00 for the application fee, a fee for the imitation package (will be discussed once officially joined) and of course our annual soror dues, which is expected of each "Xi Lady" of ZXT!

If I am a member or was of another sorority, can I join Zeta Xi Theta?

We want to respect the Greek life and/or other originations that you may be a part of. With that being said, we know that a lot is required of you when associated with organizations. So, if you are currently affiliated with another organization weather Non-collegiate or Collegiate, unfortunately you are not eligible to join Zeta Xi Theta. If you are no longer a member of another organization mentioned above, written proof along with an active contact should be provided and a decision from founders will be determined.
